Core Lithium Shares Fall on Mining Suspension

SYDNEY—Core Lithium shares dropped after the company said it would temporarily suspend mining operations amid weak conditions for minerals used in batteries.

Core’s shares fell 8.7% to 23.75 Australian cents (16 U.S. cents) on Friday, after earlier hitting a low of A$0.23. It is the worst performer on the ASX 200 so far this session.
