Barclay Damon announced Samantha McDermott has joined the firm as an associate in the torts and products liability defense and professional liability practice areas. Her primary office is Syracuse.

McDermott is a litigator focusing her practice on asbestos claims and commercial automobile litigation. She conducts depositions as well as legal research and critical analyses and drafts memoranda for a variety of complex insurance and regulatory matters.

Prior to joining Barclay Damon, McDermott was an associate and a law clerk at a firm in Syracuse. She gained additional experience as a law clerk for an international insurance company and at a firm in Albany.
