Company news: American Red Cross announces four new board members

The Central and Northern New York Chapter of the American Red Cross has added four new members to its board of directors. The chapter serves Onondaga, Oswego, Madison, Oneida, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties.

Joining the board are:

Daniel Cammarata, vice president, control center operations, National Grid. Cammarata is an accomplished energy professional who has experience leading a successful, industry leading control center organization. As vice president, he oversees National Grid’s distribution control centers in Syracuse, Albany and Buffalo, as well as the transmission control center, managing the transmission system across upstate New York. He also supervises a department administering the organization’s ongoing transition to clean energy.

Caitlin Cregg, risk management advisor, Haylor Freyer & Coon. Cregg has a diverse background in strategic planning, customer service, sales, management, and communication. As account executive, her primary mission is to utilize knowledge and expertise of the industry to ensure complete protection for nonprofit organizations. She has established many volunteer opportunities for the company’s employees to work with including the American Red Cross, The Samaritan Center, ARISE at The Farm, and P.E.A.C.E. Inc. In addition to serving on the Red Cross board of directors, Cregg is committee chair of the chapter’s Real Heroes celebration, scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 6 at Marriott Downtown Syracuse.

Brian Potter, partner, Dannible & McKee LLP. Potter is a Certified Public Accountant and tax partner with the firm, responsible for overseeing tax engagements for a variety of the firm’s clientele with a focus on manufacturing firms, construction firms, multi-state corporations, and high net worth individuals. In addition to the Red Cross, his community involvement includes serving as part board member of LAUNCH and the Syracuse International Film Festival.

Yukari Treible, operations manager, King & King Architects. Treible ensures all legal and regulatory documents related to production process are filed and monitors compliance with laws and regulations. She is a Certified Project Management Professional, Project Management Institute and is a volunteer/member of the Multinational Liaison Club, a Syracuse-based business networking group.

American Red Cross of Central and Northern New York staff and volunteers provide relief to families impacted by emergencies. The organization also installs free smoke alarms, serves veterans, service members and their families; trains people in first aid, CPR, water safety, babysitting and other lifesaving skills; and collects blood from volunteer donors to support patients in need.
