Serri, a community marketing SaaS startup, has raised $100K from a group of investors including Shiru Startups, Rishav Agarwal, and Krishnamani Kanan. The funding comes from reputed investors from India, Singapore, and Japan. Serri is also backed by startup programs from Google, Deshpande Startups, and Riidl.
According to a press release, Serri plans to utilize the funds to accelerate its product roadmap and expand into the USA and Southeast Asian markets. The company is also looking for engineering talent to join its team.
Founded in 2022 by Saad Jamal, Mohammad Wasil, Amit Dubey, and Shubham Raj, SerriOS is a platform that uses AI chatbots and multi-platform dashboards to help brands leverage communities across WhatsApp, Discord, and business tools like CRMs. The platform’s aim is to empower brands, businesses, leaders, educators, and creators to have the most meaningful conversations with their communities on a large scale.
SerriOS claims that it has more than 250 communities with over half a million members on its waitlist. The company is currently running three major paid-pilot projects with D2C Insider, Truxport, and Unsnarl, which is backed by Antler.
Based in Haldwani (Uttarakhand), Serri recently won Asia’s Largest business model competition, Eureka, organized by IIT Bombay. The company emerged as the winner from among more than 15,000 startups.
