KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 26): In the Nov 27 issue of City & Country, we report on Lendlease Malaysia’s newly appointed managing director Yong Su-Lin and chairman Dinesh Nambiar, and their partnership to move the company forward.
Yong is Lendlease Malaysia’s first female managing director and joined Lendlease Malaysia on March 1, 2022, taking over from Stuart Mendel, who returned to Australia after seven years at the helm. Yong comes with more than 25 years of experience in corporate banking and real estate, including project financing and consultancy. Her most recent role was as the chief executive officer of Sentral REIT.
With assets in the form of The Exchange TRX and Setia City Mall, Yong believes that there is a need to look at a sustainable business model to maintain and to maximise the value of these prized assets.
Along the way, to help her cope in her new role is Dinesh, who has been with the organisation for over 37 years. Together, along with their capable team at Lendlease Malaysia, they are preparing a sure foundation for the company to grow, and also add value to the various services they provide from project management and construction to property development and investment.
