Delta County Chamber of Commerce
Santa listens intently to the wishes of young guests during the fun, old-fashioned family Christmas in the Village sponsored by the Steam and Gas Engine Association held on the U.P. State Fairgrounds in December.

ESCANABA — We take this opportunity on Christmas Eve eve, to thank our waterfront community for helping us with the many endeavors and projects of the past year. We would never have accomplished what we did without your dedication and support. We know that the Chamber is successful because of you.

So, whether you are reading this at home or in the office, enjoy another cup of coffee or beverage of choice, toast yourself and accept our best wishes for a wonderful Christmas holiday surrounded by good friends and family. To you, we offer this Chamber Christmas Toast.

Santa’s on schedule

Member stores are stocked

Providing exceptional service

For that, we’re not shocked.

And now as the Christmas elves

Continue shopping in our town

We offer up this Chamber toast

So, pass your cups around.

First, dearest members

To you a prosperous year

With your renewed support

Our Chamber has nothing to fear.

Next, Ambassadors and volunteers

We wish you peaceful rest

You’ve earned it because this past year

You’ve given us your best.

And for our generous sponsors

A special Yule salute

The funding you provided allowed

Our events to bear fruit.

And finally, to our local shoppers,

Who didn’t travel far and wide

You boost our local economy

And enhance our Chamber pride.

The Chamber team commends you all

Because, you see, we feel

You’ve kept the community shining

With all your hard work and zeal

A great waterfront community

Is reason enough to boast

So, raise your cups to Christmas

With this Chamber Christmas toast!

May your Christmas and New Year be filled with happiness and joy.
