Popular Enugu State-based cleric, Pastor Ugochukwu Anike, has appealed to The Imo Business Community (TIBC) to support owners of small and medium scale enterprises via ease of doing business models.

He made the call during an interactive session with the TIBC president in Imo State, Mr Ojukwu Casmir and the vice chairman, Mr Samuel Chijioke Anyakamnele in Owerri, the Imo state capital.

He said while competition was important, business owners must look out for one another to assist in the reduction of unemployment and crime caused by idleness.

Anike advocated information-sharing among business owners, especially to guide SMEs from the same mistakes that resulted in losses.

According to him, for SMEs to make a headway, TIBC should provide avenue for strategic information-sharing including ideas.

Anike called for partnership between Enugu and Imo-based business owners, noting that it fosters partnership and expansion.

“Modern businesses require strategic partnerships. In this regard, you must be ready to assist yourself by providing yourselves with tangible communication contents and ideas. When you do this, you are helping yourself to grow.

“Business owners must share strategic information on business ideas to guide others. Owerri business owners and their colleagues in Enugu State must partner themselves in the area of ease of doing business,” he said.

Anike, the senior pastor of the Censers Church Inc worldwide, is an international speaker, who mentors young business owners.
