With more than 15 years of experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, Gast has been noted for leading and participating in the execution of multiple public and private purchase and sale transactions, including numerous acquisitions, equity investments, divestitures, and joint ventures, both national as international.

Currently, she serves as the CFO and board member of Global Technology Acquisition Corp. and a partner at Greentrail Capital, a globally focused cross-investment firm in publicly traded companies and pre-IPO opportunities, where she also held the CFO position and was a member of the board.

Gast, who holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, has also served in various financial and strategic roles of increasing responsibility across multiple regions at AM General, GWR Safety Systems, Procter & Gamble, and Volkswagen.

Also excelling as a private investor in technology, consumer goods and industrials for more than 15 years, Gast has served on numerous boards and as an advisor to growing companies and non-profit organizations.

Gast, who currently serves on the Board of Directors and is a member of the Audit Committee of ESS Tech Inc., is also a member of the Latino Corporate Directors Association (LCDA) and the National Corporate Directors Association (NCDA).
