Over the next year, participants will engage in projects and initiatives that could bring significant benefits to the sector. They will also take part in learning opportunities such as presentations from Members of Parliament and organisations within the insurance sector, as well as training on subjects like leadership and managing interactions with the media.

These participants were introduced to CII staff, programme mentors, and their fellow group members at the CII Group’s UK office last week.

Dr Matthew Connell, director for policy and public affairs, welcomed the 2023/24 cohort during the introductory session and expressed his excitement over the projects they’ll be presenting to the CII Group board at the end of the year.

“The New Generation programme is an exceptional development opportunity that will provide invaluable experience,” he said. “Our successful participants should be very proud to have gotten through a challenging application process. I wish them all the best in their work over the coming year and look forward to seeing their outputs next year.”
