Rio de Janeiro’s Christ the Redeemer statue has been illuminated to welcome Taylor Swift.

It came as the global pop sensation arrived in the country for her record-breaking Eras Tour.

Swift had to cancel previously scheduled performances in the country because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
