The tuna packets are aimed at health-conscious consumers seeking low-calorie sources of lean protein, designed with an easy-to-use format for on-the-go occasions and convenient meal additions. Chicken of the Sea’s seafood packets were developed in partnership with McCormick & Co. and include McCormick Lemon Garlic, McCormick Dill Tuna Salad and Thai Kitchen Sweet & Spicy.

“We know consumers are looking for delicious, healthy, convenient food options to keep their busy lifestyles fueled,” said Griffin Raasch, director of marketing at Chicken of the Sea. “Partnering with McCormick to incorporate their mouthwatering flavors with our wild caught, protein-packed tuna in on-the-go packets is the perfect combination. These new, versatile packets will help to provide fans with the taste they crave and nutrients they need to live a happier, healthier life.”

In addition to the tuna products, Chicken of the Sea is also adding three new ready-to-eat salmon and tuna packets that are all under 100 calories. The flavor options include Light Tuna in Spring Water, made from responsibly sourced 100% skipjack tuna; Maple Smokehouse, which features wild caught Alaskan pink salmon mixed with maple syrup; and Everything Bagel Seasoning, a blend of garlic, onion, sesame seeds and Alaskan pink salmon.
