Cero Generation’s 70MW Italian agrivoltaic project goes live, backed by agreements with Philips and HEINEKEN

Located in Italy’s central region Lazio, Pontinia ingeniously combines solar power generation with agriculture, utilizing 65% of its 135 hectares for crops, presenting an efficient solution to land competition. Expected to power over 47,000 homes, Pontinia aims to reduce 40,000 tons of CO₂  annually, contributing to Italy’s goals to cut carbon emissions by 60% by 2030 [1], and supporting the net zero ambitions of Cero Generation, Philips and HEINEKEN.
