Catskill Art and Office Supply to receive 2023 Small Business of the Year Award by Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce

KINGSTON, N.Y. — Catskill Art and Office Supply, with locations in Kingston, Woodstock and Poughkeepsie, was the winner of the 2023 Ulster County Small Business of the Year Award by the Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Catskill Art and Office Supply is among nine businesses, business leaders and organizations that will be honored at the Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Business Recognition Awards Celebration at the Diamond Mills Hotel at 25 S. Partition St., Saugerties on Thursday, Oct. 26. beginning at 5:30 p.m.

“Paul Solis-Cohen first opened the niche store known for its retail art supplies and custom picture framing services in Woodstock 45 years ago,” the chamber said in the description. “The success of that store prompted him in 1986 to open a second location at 328 Wall St. in Kingston, which he occupied for 33 years, and later, a third store in Poughkeepsie. In recent years, he relocated his Wall Street shop to a larger space in the Kingston Plaza.”
