The Moggy Daycare was founded around five years ago by husband and wife team Adam and Emily Gale, both 36, offering an alternative to a cattery – and now it has won an award as the best cat sitting business in the region.
Moggy Daycare won the SME News Midlands Enterprise Awards of Pet sitter of the year 2023.
Moggy Daycare is a cat sitting service in Worcester that offers ‘loving and professional care for your feline friends’.
This includes care for one-time visit or a regular schedule with the aim that Moggy Daycare accommodates different needs and preferences.

Adam Gale, the owner and operator of Moggy Daycare, has been described by the awards organisers as ‘a certified cat lover and has years of experience in cat care’.
“He will treat your cats as his own and provide them with the best attention, playtime, feeding, grooming, and medication,” said a spokesperson for the awards, the results of which were announced in August.
The cattery serves Worcester city and has recently started covering Droitwich too, which is looked after by Emily’s brother, 33-year-old Tim Brush.
A spokesperson said: “When people first come to us they have often not had a cat sitter before, most people haven’t even heard of the concept, as an alternative to the traditional cattery.
“We visit your cat in their own home environment and give them food, water, clean the litter trays, play with them and give them fusses. It comes with the bonus of extra house security too, as well as someone to water the garden while you are away.
“We started with a handful of clients and were able to work alongside employment, however we have grown so much that Adam is now able to do cat sitting full time.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers, old and new for their business and support these past few years.”
