Mumbai: Much to analysts expectations Indian indices opened on a weaker note today. TCS stock price has tanked 2.39 per cent after the company announced its Q3FY2022 results. Similarly, other tech stocks including Infosys, HCL Tech, Wipro et cetera are trading in the red.

STOCKS TO WATCH ON JANUARY 10, 2023

TCS: IT major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has reported a 10.98 percent increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 10,883 crore for the quarter that ended December 2022 (Q3FY23). In the year-ago period, the company had posted a profit of Rs 9,806 crore.

Tata Power Company: Tata Power subsidiary Tata Power Renewable Energy has received ‘letter of award’ to set up 255MW hybrid power project (wind and solar) for Tata Power Delhi Distribution, in Karnataka. Tata Power Delhi Distribution is a joint venture of Tata Power and the Government of NCT of Delhi. The project will be commissioned within 24 months from the PPA execution date.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC): ONGC Videsh Ltd, the overseas arm of state-owned ONGC, has re-taken a 20 per cent stake in the Sakhalin-1 oil and gas fields in the far east region of Russia. Russian President Vladimir Putin in October last year disbanded Exxon Neftegaz – a regional subsidiary of US super major ExxonMobil – as operator of the Sakhalin-1 and transferred the project and all of its assets and equipment to a new operator.
