There have been few careers in the watch industry as prolific and impactful as that of Jean-Claude Biver, who began in watches at Audemars Piguet. Next, he was an instrumental figure in the mechanical watch renaissance at Blancpain, and then went on to bring a charismatic approach to business, marketing, and product development, during a career that touched many of the most important marques in Switzerland, among them Omega, Hublot, TAG Heuer and Zenith. Biver was also the head of the Watchmaking Division of the French luxury group LVMH.
