Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) and other business leaders have emphasised the importance of digital strategy and data-driven decision-making in driving business success and growth.
The business leaders, who gathered in Lagos during a digital strategy boot camp, were empowered with the necessary tools to drive revenue growth through digital channels.
The organiser, Hassan Ismail Consulting, said the need has become pertinent in helping business leaders to adopt the necessary digital strategies critical to the success and growth of their businesses.
Convener of the boot camp, Dr. Hassan Ismail, said as the business world continues to evolve, the digital transformation has become an essential tool for companies to remain competitive and achieve success in the digital age.
Ismail, who is also the CEO of a real estate development company, Eystone, said those who fail to embrace digital transformation risk being left behind, while others who leverage digital technologies to their advantage will be the ones who thrive.
Noting that the importance of digital strategy for CEOs in today’s business world cannot be overemphasised, he said in the present digital age, businesses have access to vast amounts of data and chief executives, who know how to use the data to drive growth and innovation are well-positioned to succeed.
The Eystone boss explained to the participants the need for continuous learning and innovation, as well as best practices in digital marketing, website development and online reputation management.
At the training, the participants were taken through practical sessions on social media marketing, lead capture and customer relationship management, as well as gained invaluable insights into how to develop and implement effective digital strategies.
