The Business Travel News Europe editorial team was thrilled to land two awards at last night’s Business Travel Journalism Awards in London.

Andy Hoskins was named Editor of the Year while Amon Cohen picked up the Features Journalist of the Year – Sustainability award.

The judges cited Hoskins’ leadership and contribution to the industry and praised Cohen in particular for his ‘exceptional’ exploration of EU regulations shaping the future of travel.

BTN Europe was also shortlisted for Editorial Team of the Year – a category in which it triumphed for the previous three years – while editorial team members Lauren Arena, Mark Frary and Rob Gill were also finalists across several categories.

Meanwhile, Paul Harvey, editor of BTN Europe stablemate Meetings & Incentive Travel, was named Columnist of the Year.

Organised by travel management company CWT, the annual awards for outstanding events and business travel journalism celebrated their 20th anniversary and took place at the Tower of London’s iconic White Tower.

“The 2023 Business Travel Journalism Awards shine a light on the exemplary standards of journalism upheld within the travel and meetings sphere,” said Victoria Berwick, VP global marketing, CWT.

“The entrants, short-listers and ultimate category winners this year have again proven the importance of the questions they ask our industry, to ensure it continues to progress and strive for excellence.”
