British Airways has this week started flying to its latest US city, Cincinnati, which becomes the carrier’s 27th destination in the North American country.
Flights from London Heathrow to the Ohio city will operate five times per week during the current summer season, but will drop down to four weekly services next winter. The new route was first announced in November.
Neil Chernoff, BA’s director of networks and alliances, said: “When we look at the Cincinnati region, we see a vibrant part of the US with a great mix of business and leisure travellers who have long asked for more international service and global connectivity. This is what made it so attractive to us and why we’re confident this new route will be a success.”
BA’s Heathrow-Cincinnati services will operate on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday this summer, with the Tuesday flight being dropped for the winter 2023-24 schedule.
The airline will fly a range of different aircraft to Cincinnati, including Boeing 777s and 787s, offering three cabins: Club World business class, premium economy and economy.
