Briarwood Mall, 100 Briarwood Cir., has announced a few new businesses are joining the mall this year, including Texas De Brazil, which has become well-known for its combination of Brazilian churrasco cooking and generous Texas-size portions.

What’s that coming to Arbor Brewing Company’s former location? 2 new tenants
Arbor Brewing Company’s former location in downtown Ann Arbor will soon feature two new businesses.
The building that was responsible for bringing Arbor Brewing Company’s craft beers for 25 years will now be the new spot for a boutique and a local footwear store. Arbor Brewing Company closed its downtown Ann Arbor location at 114 E. Washington St. in 2020.

Ray’s Red Hots in Ann Arbor has closed, but it may be sold to new owners
Some Ann Arbor residents are going to have to find a new place to get their hot dogs now that Ray’s Red Hots is closed.
Owner Ray Johnston recently shared the restaurant that opened in 2009 has been closed for months now, but he has been talking with a few “serious parties” interested in buying the business. He said one group is planning on keeping the restaurant’s legacy alive and may even reopen as early as the fall if all goes well.

Imagine a store where every day is like Black Friday. That’s exactly what a new Ypsilanti Township business plans to bring to the area.
The new store called Money Bins features discounts on overstock inventory and some returns from well-known companies like Amazon, Target and Walmart.
Customers can find retail merchandise, electronics, home décor, shoes, toys, hardware, clothing, presents and party gifts.

Ann Arbor Music Academy offers lessons for musicians of all ages, skill levels
Marla Moore said private music lessons made her into the person she is today. Now, the professional musician and voice instructor is hoping to do the same for others with Ann Arbor Music Academy.
Moore is the owner and director of Ann Arbor Music Academy, which recently opened at the end of May at 2363 E. Stadium Blvd. in Ann Arbor.
The music academy offers private and group music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels for guitar, voice, piano, violin, bass, ukulele and as well as other instruments in the future, Moore said.

Husband and wife Sarah and Jim Seta are behind the operations at Michigan Creamery, which prides itself on using only products produced in Michigan for its ice creams, chocolates and other ingredients. The business carries primarily Guernsey ice cream made in Northville and typically offers 34 flavors.
