Business travel consultancy Black Box Partnerships has appointed Kirstie van Oerle as head of practice – transformation and strategy.
Van Oerle previously worked for Capita PLC for several years, including a spell as managing director of the company’s rail platform Evolvi Rail Systems, which was recently sold to Clarity as part of the Agiito deal. She has also been a partner at IT consultancy Netcompany.
In her new role at Black Box, van Oerle will have responsibility for transformation, digital and strategy across Europe as the consultancy eyes further growth.
“I aim to bring my experience in managing complex, large-scale digital transformation initiatives to complement and extend the excellent services from Black Box and to help our customers to adapt and maximise their business,” said van Oerle in a statement.
Leigh Cowlishaw, managing partner at Black Box, added: “Having Kirstie lead transformation will elevate our service appeal to multiple levels across the global travel meetings and event market.”
UK-based Black Box has also created a “broader role” for Paula Cullen as of head of practice – ESG (environmental, social and governance) and growth.
The business travel, meetings and events specialist said Cullen would “support deeper customer and industry synergies” in her expanded role.
