Björn Borg Group’s net sales amounted to 262.1 million Swedish krona for the third quarter, an increase of 5 per cent, while currency-neutral net sales increased by 1 per cent.

“Once again, we have improved both sales and operating profit compared to the previous year’s quarter,” said Björn Borg CEO Henrik Bunge.

Sales for the company’s own e-commerce climbed by 25% to 37.6 million Swedish krona, while net sales for e-tailers and the company’s own e-commerce amounted to 95.6 million Swedish krona, a 15% rise.

The company’s gross profit margin increased by 4.3 per centage points to 52.6 per cent, while its currency-neutral gross profit margin came to 52.5 per cent.

Operating profit for Björn Borg increased by 34% to 40.9 million Swedish krona. In terms of currency parity, the operating profit increased by 23% to 37 million Swedish krona.

The company recorded a 44 per cent increase in profit after tax to 32 million Swedish krona, and earnings per share rose to 1.27 Swedish krona.
