Small businesses and entrepreneurs facing financial hardships can now apply for a $10,000 grant.

Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD Foundation has partnered with the National Minority Supplier Development Council to supply the grants through the Black Parade Route initiative, which first launched in 2020 to help Black-owned small businesses challenged by the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The first phase of the initiative was able to support 900 businesses.

For the second phase, the singer has committed $1 million toward the following:

  • 10+ cities around the globe (Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New Orleans, New York, London, and two additional international cities to be named)
  • 100 Black entrepreneurs who will be selected in each city to attend the Black Parade Route luncheons
  • 1,000 small businesses provided with grant opportunities and/or business sustainability support services
  • $100,000 in grants provided per city for small business relief

“The goal is to celebrate small business owners with relief grant opportunities and valued business support services offered by global partners to aid in business sustainability,” the foundation said.

Applications for the $10,000 grants are available on the foundation’s website.
