A member of Begbies Traynor’s Leicester office has been promoted to director.

Thomas Harris joined the Begbies Traynor team in 2020 with almost 15 years’ experience in insolvency and business recovery, having previously worked with partners Martin Buttriss and Carolynn Best.

He has now moved up to the role of appointment-taking director, supporting Buttriss and Best in taking formal appointments and providing advice to companies in the region that require assistance if they find themselves in financial difficulty.

Harris said: “Now more than ever, businesses are facing really challenging times, so it is important that they can rely on us to provide high quality business recovery advice and consultancy services.
