Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has Marc Guehi and Edmond Tapsoba on his centre-back shortlist, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Crystal Palace star Guehi is reported to have admirers at a range of top clubs, including Tottenham, although nobody has bitten at his £50m price tag. £39m-rated Tapsoba, meanwhile, was believed to be of interest to Spurs before Ange Postecoglou’s swoop for Micky van de Ven.
Although the defensive duo are both thought to feature in Ten Hag’s thinking, Benjamin Pavard and Jean-Clair Todibo are still believed to be at the top of his wish list.
