Dog and cat owners now have another option to take their sick animals in Ann Arbor.
Animal Urgent Center opened on July 5 at 215 N Maple Road Suite A-1 as a space for pet owners to go when they don’t need to visit the emergency room, but can’t wait for an appointment with their veterinarian.

Rock Paper Scissors is closing its 2 locations in downtown Saline
Rock Paper Scissors is ending its time in Saline as it plans to close its two downtown locations.
The business announced it is closing both its gift shop at 104 W. Michigan Ave. and its toy store, Rock Paper Scissors Junior, at 106 W. Michigan Ave. This announcement comes after Rock Paper Scissors Junior was impacted by a mulch fire in June.

Raterman Bread Haus & Bistro plans to bring more than just bread to Dexter
The smell of fresh-baked bread will soon fill Dexter.
Owner Nick Raterman is opening Raterman Bread Haus & Bistro right next to Erratic Ale Co. at 8080 Grand St. and will sell fresh-baked sourdough bread, sandwiches, artisanal-style pizzas, soups, salads and German-style pretzels.

Maren Jackson moved to Ann Arbor without any plans in the late 1970s. Little did she know this move would completely transform her life forever.
Maren and her husband Jeff in purchased Seva in 1997 and now, 50 years later, the well-known Ann Arbor restaurant is still bringing its vegetarian cuisine to the area.

Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea is coming to Ann Arbor’s 777 building
A popular local coffee shop is now open for business on the ground floor of the 777 building in Ann Arbor.
Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea recently opened a new franchise location on Monday, Aug. 7, at 777 Eisenhower Parkway which serves as the headquarters of Ann Arbor commercial real estate company Oxford Companies. Despite its location, the coffee shop is open to the public.
