Northern European consulting firm Anderson MacGyver has strengthened its team with two new junior consultants: Hugo Bjelskjo in Sweden and Sander Paulus in the Netherlands.

Hugo Bjelskjo has joined Anderson MacGyver as a management consultant following his master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University in Sweden. He is passionate about helping organizations grapple with digital transformation and aims to connect IT and business to make the most of data and technology for added value.

Bjelskjo completed his thesis in collaboration with Anderson MacGyver. The research examined an internally developed model and how it was applied by an organization facing challenges.

The fresh recruit is destined to be a good fit for the firm’s Stockholm office, which partners describe as a supportive and dynamic work environment. Anderson MacGyver’s Nordic leader Patrik Hermansson previously told Consultancy.org that the Swedish branch is a great workplace for high-performing professionals focused on digital transformation, who thrive on making an impact with clients.

Sander Paulus, who joined the firm’s headquarters office in the Netherlands, works in a management consultant position. He is driven by applying an analytical mind-set to finding solutions to complex situations.

Paulus has a passion for gathering and organizing information to find ways for IT and business to work together more smoothly. He learned the skills to bridge this gap during his master’s in Business Informatics.

His experience as a DevOps engineer and data expert developer further deepened his IT knowledge. He combines this tech know-how with his social skills and ambition to keep organizations moving forward and avoiding pitfalls.

“As a young ambitious and hard-working information scientist it is my goal to develop software and IT solutions as fast and as efficiently as possible, to be able to deliver value to the company and its customers,” said Paulus. “It is my ultimate challenge to tackle these problems by creating a top-down view with my ability to quickly understand domains and processes, and mapping them using a wide variety of modeling languages.”

The two additions continue Anderson MacGyver’s organic growth path. The firm, which launched in the Netherlands, inaugurated its first international office in Sweden in 2019, followed by a German office in 2021.

Anderson MacGyver focuses on strategic digital consulting dealing with a focus on organizational governance, data and technology. In the past year, Anderson MacGyver’s successful collaborations include projects with clients like PostNL, the Dutch national postal service, and in Sweden, Boliden, one of Europe’s largest mining groups.
