ANA Commits to Carbon Removal Credit Purchase

All Nippon Airways has agreed to purchase from carbon-capture company 1PointFive 10,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide removal credits per year for three years, the carrier announced Tuesday. 1PointFive’s direct air capture plant is under construction in Texas and is expected to be commercially operational in mid-2025. ANA has committed to being carbon-neutral by 2050.
