between Europe and the United States, the carrier announced on Thursday.

Three
of the routes will operate to Philadelphia (pictured), with flights from Nice, Copenhagen and Naples commencing on 5 May, 1 June and 5 June 2024 respectively. All three services will be operated using Boeing 787 aircraft.

The carrier will also introduce a new service on 1 June between Barcelona and Dallas Fort Worth using Boeing 777-200 aircraft.

In addition, American will relaunch services
between Chicago and Venice on 1 June, which it last operated in 2019,
according to the carrier.

Along with returning routes, American will operate 67 daily flights between the United States and Europe for the summer season.

“American is
thrilled to add three new European destinations,” said Brian Znotins,
American’s senior vice president of network and schedule planning. “New
service from Philadelphia and expanded trans-Atlantic service from
Chicago and Dallas-Fort Worth will offer customers convenient one-stop
access from more than 200 unique destinations across the US to Europe
