The Albanese government on Monday announced the second round of the Australian Small Business Advisory Services Program.
The program connects Australian businesses with advice and training to help them sell products online, with digital marketing and social media.
“Through this program, we want to give small businesses nationwide the skills and confidence they need to embrace digital opportunities,” Small Business minister Julie Collins said.
“The Albanese Government is investing in small businesses to help them create jobs, harness opportunities and grow in the digital economy.
“Digitalisation is the key to unlocking productivity gains, creating efficiencies and better connecting small businesses with their customers.
“We know just how critical this is as more and more Australians connect with small businesses online.”
More than 45,000 small businesses took part in round one and three providers have been selection for the second round of the program.
The three providers – Realise Business, Business Foundations and Darebin Enterprise Centre – have been given $18.6 million in grants to provide services and advice to small businesses.
Under the program, Australian businesses can access four hours of one-on-one advice about the digitisation of their operations, access workshops, presentations and tutorials about selling online, cyber security and marketing.
