AirBaltic to add 11 routes for summer 2024

AirBaltic is to add 11 new routes from airports in Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania for its summer 2024 schedule.

Seven of the Latvian carrier’s additional routes will be from its home base of Riga with two from Tallinn and one each from the Lithuanian cities of Vilnius and Palanga. AirBaltic also plans to add more flights to key destinations from Riga including Rome, Prague and Tel Aviv.

Martin Gauss, the airline’s CEO, said: “When preparing for the next season, we always carefully evaluate the market situation and the passenger demand. 

“This time, we have identified an opportunity to widen our network in central and south-eastern Europe with connections to Baltic and Nordic countries.”

AirBaltic’s new destinations for summer 2024 from Riga include Tirana, Sofia and Ljubljana, while Vilnius to Krakow is among the other routes to be introduced.
