Air France will expand its transatlantic network for the upcoming winter season with new and resumed routes and increased flight frequencies to the US and Canada.
The carrier will commence a new non-stop service between its hub at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina on 30 October. Services on the route, previously operated by Delta Air Lines, will be three-times weekly on Monday, Wednesday and Friday on Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
Air France also plans to increase flight frequencies on its winter route from Charles de Gaulle to Dallas/Fort Worth International. The service will operate five times per week.
The carrier’s recently introduced Paris CDG-Ottawa route, which commenced on 27 June, will also extend into winter, with five flights per week on Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
Air France is the only carrier to operate non-stop flights between Europe and the Canadian capital.
Flights will also be added on routes from Paris CDG to Montreal and Vancouver, with up to 21 and five weekly flights, respectively – up from 17 and three weekly flights last winter.
In addition, the carrier will resume its winter service between Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe) and Montreal on 2 December, with two weekly flights on Airbus A320 aircraft.
The 2023-2024 winter season will see the carrier operate up to 212 weekly flights to 21 destinations in the US, Canada and Mexico.
