HONG KONG — Agnes Chow, a prominent Hong Kong pro-democracy activist who recently fled the territory for Canada, is now officially being pursued by the city’s police for breaking the terms of her bail, which required her to return home on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Tony Chung, another democracy activist who was under government surveillance after being released from prison in June, posted on Facebook on Friday that he had escaped the city and arrived in London via Japan. He is seeking political asylum in the U.K.
