The replacement building is designed by BCRA Architects of Tacoma.
The Morgan Family YMCA has been serving the greater Tacoma community at 1002 S. Pearl St. for over 45 years. That property, which the YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties says is at the end of its useful life, is now set to be replaced with a new 94,679-square-foot recreational facility with modern amenities that include an aquatics center with a lazy river and splash pad.
