AEGEAN and Cyprus Airways have teamed up for an airline codeshare partnership.
The agreement connects the networks of the two flag carriers to offer more connectivity for passengers travelling to and from Cyprus.
Starting on 20 June, it will boost business and leisure travel between Greece and Cyprus.
AEGEAN will place its A3 code on flights operated by Cyprus Airways to Paris, Rome, Milan, Beirut, Cairo, Yerevan and all Greek destinations.
The airline codeshare sees Cyprus Airways place its code on all AEGEAN’s network in Greece and flights to Madrid and Barcelona.
Customers will benefit from through check-in for codeshare flights.
“We share similar attributes for service and customer satisfaction which makes us ideal partners,” said Paul Sies, Cyprus Airways CEO.
Codeshare itineraries can now be booked on AEGEAN, travel agents and OTAs.
