PETALING JAYA: Advancecon Holdings Bhd has secured a contract worth RM45.48mil from Petros Power Sdn Bhd for the proposed construction and completion of earthworks of a power plant project in Miri, Sarawak.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Advancecon said the contract is for the development of Package 1 Earthworks of the Miri Combined Cycle Gas Turbine power plant project.
The construction firm said the contract period would be for a period of 12 months.
“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the contract is expected to contribute positively towards the future earnings of Advancecon Group for the duration of the contract and will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of Advancecon Group,” it said.
