Advance Concrete Technology (ACT) has strengthened its partnership with Schomburg Germany to enhance the construction and building industry with technology-driven quality materials.
Speaking at a consumer dinner event, the Marketing Manager, ACT, Irene Ntiokiet, said the firm is focused on addressing challenges around the use of substandard materials in the construction industry.
She said ACT is in the business of construction-based chemicals, to solve building needs and save lives.
According to her, the chemicals help save the cost of cement as they reduce the water used and strengthen the concrete, which prevents issues of building collapse from being witnessed across the country.
“Most times you look at homes and buildings and see light marks or water on the walls. That means there is a water issue with that building, and if left untreated for a while, it leads to structural defects.
“Also, you find out people move into a certain house, then they start to sneeze and have allergies. It is probably an allergic reaction to moisture and dampness in that building and this thing affects human health,” she explained.
She reiterated the firm’s commitment to continually strive for client satisfaction and giving top-notch quality service that will improve the construction industry.
The Regional Sales Manager, Schomburg Germany, Holger Sass, said the problem in the construction industry is waterproofing for buildings, especially the basement of premium hotels.
He said this is why the firm is working together with companies in Nigeria to increase the construction and building business, especially with the crystalline waterproofing that needs special raw materials, production and quality control systems.
“We have a partnership with Nigeria to see the opportunities and possibilities because we know there is a good market partner and we can increase our business as an exporter from Germany to Nigeria.
“Products like this can also be produced in Nigeria, especially this crystalline waterproofing that needs special raw materials, production and quality control systems. This is the reason we arrange that we deliver products to increase the quality of advantage concrete technology in Nigeria,” he said.
