Of the sum, RM15,000 was each raised by eight Master of Business Administration (MBA) students from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Graduate School of Business (UKM-GSB) as part of a corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme, while another RM5,000 was donated by the public and RM10,000 from Felda-FGV.
The CSR programme carried out by the student group, known as The Red Heroes, also banded over 40 other volunteers to support BSBCC’s conservation efforts and cover the cost of daily operations and research carried out by BSBCC.
