Caroline Brown has organised her second small business event locally following a successful debut last month that saw 250 to 300 people visit and pick up a ‘quirky’ item or two.
And now the adopted Bankie admits she felt Clydebank needed a regular market that supported small, local retailers.
Speaking to the Post, Caroline said: “There is nothing like it in Clydebank.
“Just because I have been a crafter for 15 years and it’s giving that extra help for businesses who make things like it.”
On sale on the day will be items such as arts, crafts, cakes, chocolates, bakery products, knitted goods, candles, magnets and beauty and bathing items, to name but a few among the 25 sellers already signed up.
And Caroline also has a special guest coming to the day, one that the kids are sure to love.
“Skye from Paw Patrol is coming,” Caroline added.
“So it should be a great day.”
The artisan market will be held at Clyde Shopping Centre in Hall Two from 12pm to 4pm this Saturday, May 6.
