French Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain has submitted a preliminary application to take over the lease of Stade de France but says its priority remains to stay playing at Parc des Princes stadium.
The French government announced last month that it would consider bids for Stade de France, which will be the centrepiece of next year’s Paris Olympics, when the current lease expires in July 2025.
