The 2023 Atlantic Journalism Awards (AJAs) were announced during three events in Halifax, St. John’s and Fredericton on April 20.

Each year, the AJAs honour journalistic excellence and achievement for print and electronic news in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador.

CBC journalists in Atlantic Canada won 8 Gold and 13 Silver AJAs in the categories of Radio, Television, Digital and Any Medium.
