CBSE Class 12 Business Studies paper analysis 2023 | ‘Average paper’, say students and teachers

By Shruti Bansal : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has successfully conducted the Class 12 Business Studies paper today, March 25, 2023, for the current academic year 2023. As per the initial analysis shared by students and teachers, the paper was average and not at all lengthy.

DETAILED-ANALYSIS OF PAPER

“The question paper was a balanced mix of knowledge, analysis, and application-based questions. Most of the students were able to complete the paper well in time and also could save some time for revision,” said Priyanka Swami (PGT Commerce), KIIT World School, Gurugram.

Today’s exam was way too easy. Case studies were easy to crack, and not at all lengthy. I completed my paper within 2 hours,” said Yuvika Sharma, a Class 12 student from St. Angel’s sr. sec. school, Rohini, Delhi.

SECTION-WISE ANALYSIS

  • Questions 1 to 20 were multiple-choice questions carrying one mark each.

  • Questions 21 to 24 were very short answer questions carrying three marks each

  • Questions 25 to 30 were short answer questions carrying 4 marks each

  • Questions 31 to 34 were long answer questions carrying 6 marks each

  • The language of the case studies was very simple and was easily understood by the students.

“There was a good amalgamation of HOTS and NCERT-based questions as well. The paper overall was very balanced in terms of difficulty,” she added.

NO ERROR IN THE QUESTION PAPER
“There was no error found in the question paper. The paper consists of questions ranging from easy to critical. The language was very easy and proper reading of the questions will make it accessible for the students,” she further added.
