Accommodation booking specialist 3Sixty is adding access to more than 300,000 hotels to its platform through a new partnership with bed bank Hotelbeds.

3Sixty, which is a part of “alternative” hospitality specialist Reside Worldwide, said the deal with Hotelbeds marked a “significant diversification” of its network, which already offers one million accommodation options such as serviced apartments and aparthotels.

The agreement will allow 3Sixty’s users to access Hotelbeds’ global portfolio of hotels across 195 countries. It is part of 3Sixty’s policy of adding new partnerships during the past year to give clients “maximum choice and flexibility in booking accommodation”.

Carrie Hartman, chief revenue officer at 3Sixty, said, “As market demand for business travel and relocation is rising, we’re actively widening our supply network to meet increasing demand.

“Our partnership with Hotelbeds is an important step in this endeavour. 3Sixty will always champion alternative accommodation, but we also recognise that different travellers have different needs and we want to cater to all of them.”

Chief technology officer Robyn Joliat added that the new partnership would “soon” be expanded to offer Hotelbeds’ full range of services to 3Sixty’s clients, including car rental and activities.

“Today’s traveller expects tech solutions to act as a one-stop shop for all their needs for a trip, from flights and accommodation to communication and insurance,” explained Joliat.
