Dr. Charles J. DiCosimo III announced the opening of a state-of-the-art orthodontic practice in Manlius.

Born and raised in Manlius, he is a graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School. He then attended the University of Rochester for his undergraduate education, obtaining a bachelor of arts degree in psychology with distinction. He went on to study dentistry at the Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.

In 2015, he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, graduating magna cum laude. He remained at Boston University for an additional three years while completing his Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics specialty program, graduating in the spring of 2018 with a Master of Science in Dentistry and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study degree.

Dr. DiCosimo has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics for his master’s research on palate expanders and airway changes.
