Areka Consulting appoints SVP for the DACH region

Martina Eggler

Martina Eggler has joined Areka Consulting as senior vice president for the DACH region, including Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Eggler joins the travel and expense consultancy with more than 30 years of experience in the business travel sector. 

Based in Germany, Eggler was previously with ATG Travel Worldwide, where she served as general manager for the DACH region and, most recently as chief marketing officer. She has also led global accounts and partnerships for hotel booking portal HRS and TMC giant CWT, where she worked for more than 15 years. 

In a LinkedIn post, Areka said Eggler’s “wealth of experience and expertise in the industry promises valuable contributions to our clients and our team”.

In her own LinkedIn post, Eggler said: “Embracing change with enthusiasm has opened exciting opportunities in my professional journey and has led me to this great team. While adaptability is key, I have come to recognise the significance of stability.”

She added: “I am excited to be part of the Areka family. While each member brings unique talents, we are united by our shared values, collaborating together for the greatest impact.”
