No matter how you celebrate, one thing everyone has in common in the run-up to Christmas is a bit of extra shopping.

Whether it’s filling up the fridge for adult children returning home, stocking up on wine, delicacies and treats to cater for all the guests coming for dinner on the big day, choosing trinkets for teachers, refuse collectors and the postman/woman or doing the serious business of buying presents for friends and loved ones, spending money is an inescapable part of the festive season.
