PinPoint Media, a ‘data-driven, human-inspired’ content and performance marketing agency on The Promenade in Cheltenham, has acquired a creative agency to boost its expansion into the new year.
Its acquisition of NOVA+, which has a presence in both the UK and South Africa, means the firm is significantly increasing its global team.
Co-founded in 2020 by Anton Gabb, NOVA+ specialises in paid media, user-generated content and influencer marketing for direct-to-consumer brands.
NOVA+ has boosted sales and in-platform revenue for brands such as drydrinker.com by 31 per cent; and increased conversions for Elizabeth Scarlett velvet pouches by 130 per cent over six months.
Working across strategy and social media, creative and production, paid media and media buying, PinPoint Media refers to its current growth strategy as focusing on a ‘global team of local experts’.
Having NOVA+ as part of the team means that PinPoint Media’s clients — which include Ticketmaster Sport, DrPawPaw, Bella Italia, Las Iguanas, Barratt Developments, Payhawk and BAE Systems — will be boosted with new names such as Nyetimber, OTO Wellbeing, Blank Street, Dry Drinker, Hair By Sam McKnight, Planthood, Knoops and Spacemade.
CEO and founder of PinPoint Media, Oliver Bruce, said: ‘This acquisition is an important addition to PinPoint’s global team of marketing experts.
‘It will allow us to further expand our direct-to-consumer performance offering as well as enable NOVA’s current and future client base access to PinPoint Media’s wider creative and strategic campaign resources.’
Gabb added: ‘We’re thrilled to announce our strategic partnership with PinPoint Media.
‘As content takes centre stage in paid media campaigns, this collaboration equips NOVA+ and our clients with an exceptional team of strategists and creatives as well as access to outdoor advertising resource for our clients.
‘We’re excited to watch NOVA+ thrive even further with the support of PinPoint Media.’
In 2023, PinPoint Media increased its staff numbers by 30 per cent, bringing its total headcount to 40. It also launched an apprenticeship scheme with students from the University of Gloucestershire.
It’s been a great year for the company’s bottom line, too, with a 45 per cent increase in annual revenue and increased strategic investments in both the UK and overseas.
Now with the new acquisition, next year will see PinPoint Media open a London office in January 2024, alongside establishing an increased presence in both Cape Town, South Africa as well as Manchester in the UK.
