The government is asking retailers if they plan to hike their prices in response to its move to increase the minimum wage, the Business Post has learned.

Businesses have been contacted with a survey from the Department of Enterprise asking if they are planning “price inflation” as a result of increased costs associated with the living wage jump, as well as new pension auto-enrolment measures.
