Toronto-based lifestyle brand Roots has appointed Leslie Golts as its chief marketing officer (CMO). Meghan Roach, President and Chief executive officer of Roots, expressed confidence in Golts, highlighting her extensive experience in brand-building.
“She is a talented leader that will play a critical role in advancing the company’s marketing initiatives and reinforcing its position in the market. With her deep life-long love for Roots, she is an excellent cultural fit, and we are pleased to welcome her to the team”, she added.
With a career spanning over 15 years in marketing and communications leadership, Golts is transitioning from general manager and head of marketing at Unilever Canada’s Beauty & Wellness Business Unit. She drove significant profitable growth and brand success across various segments, including haircare, skincare, vitamins, and hydration.
She also held managerial positions at L’Oreal and was crucial in developing global campaigns for Dove.
