Marketing agency Hewitt Matthews has acquired the website hosting and support service of communications agency The Typeface Group.
The Portsmouth firm say the acquisition for an undisclosed sum shows its ongoing commitment to expanding and enhancing its specialist website hosting and support services.
Carl Hewitt, CEO & Co-Founder at Hewitt Matthews, said: “We see this acquisition as a significant milestone for Hewitt Matthews. Our hosting & support arm has been growing year on year for over 7 years, and this exciting deal has propelled us even further forward. We’re now able to offer an even more robust suite of services to our clients and pass on the economies of scale that come with a larger client base, reaffirming our commitment to delivering excellent hosting & support solutions, consistently.” said
The Typeface Group, who are based in Basingstoke, say they are disposing of their hosting division to focus on their core offerings of SEO, Copy, Content and email marketing related services.
Polly Buckland, Co-Founder of The Typeface Group said: “This is the last step in removing web design from our roster of services after a decade. This move allows us to perfectly complement web agencies like Hewitt Matthews with our SEO and content provision. It also gives us the freedom to double down on improving communication systems for our clients, giving them focus, reducing marketing waste and improving organic ROI.”
